What started as a need to retrofit vehicles for the rugged off-road Safari life in South Africa has expanded to the adventure of retrofitting and customizing unique vehicles for our customers all over the globe. The owner was born in South Africa and achieved his degree in Business from The University of Cape Town. It is here, with his passion for adventure and his knowledge of how to build vehicles sturdy enough for the off-roads of Africa, that he opened his first working garage. Many years later, in 2000, Aldon moved to the United States of America and expanded his company, renaming it Epic Auto Restoration to reflect the originality and impressive look of our rebuilds. The company has still maintained its base and its work facilities in South Africa. This enables them to capitalize on the experience and knowledgeable talents of their mechanics and technicians, some of whom have been with them from the very beginning.
